EchoCardiogram
An Echo is a cardiac ultrasound exam that provides information about heart health. It shows and records heart function in motion and accurately measures size, dimensions, velocities, and pumping function. The echo can identify CAD, CHF, myocarditis, valvular diseases like aortic stenosis, and murmurs.
EKG / ECG
ECG / EKG (12 Lead electrocardiogram)
A quick test of your hearts electrical activity. Sensors are placed on your skin and limbs to record your hearts electrical signals, as wave patterns on paper. Doctors use ECG to diagnose heart conditions like Afib and assess overall health. Often used for Pre-op.
A wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) device used for recording of the heart’s electrical activity through repeated cardiac cycles. It is designed to record a person’s heart rhythm continuously over an extended period to detect irregular heart rhythms.
ABI
A fast, simple, and accurate Ankle Brachial Index (ABI) to diagnose peripheral arterial disease. Most PAD’s are not discovered until there is severe symptomatic disease.
